The beginning
North & Sons started in 2015
North & Sons began in 2015 when the family grew — and the ambition to build something lasting grew with it. The business started with one decorator, a small car and a simple way of working: arrive when agreed, prepare the surfaces properly and leave every customer with a finish worthy of the family name.
Since then, North & Sons has grown into a team of qualified decorators and an apprentice, bringing together more than 45 years of combined trade experience. Most of our work takes place across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland — though projects have taken us from Oxford Street in London to the Scottish Borders.
The size of the business has changed, but the standards behind it have not. We remain closely involved in every project, from the first conversation and quotation through to the final inspection. The work is never rushed simply to move on to the next job.
For the family behind North & Sons, this has never felt like just another company. It is the fourth child.
